JAMES McGOWAN is a time served carpenter and joiner. He finished his apprenticeship in 1978 and has laid floors periodically throughout that time.

He started laying floors in ernest in 1991-92, and then went to Australia for some years and on to Japan. All the time he was honing his craft as a joiner and floor layer.

James came back to the UK in 1997 and since then has been concentrating on floor laying only. He has worked in prestige environments - see the Jobs Done page..
